How much does a yoga retreat in Morocco cost?

What you pay for a yoga retreat in Morocco, what is included, what is not, and which choices make the biggest difference to the price.
It is usually the first practical question, and a fair one. A yoga retreat is a holiday, a course and a place to rest all at once, so prices vary enormously. Here is what a retreat in Morocco costs with us, what you get for it, and how to compare it with other offers.
The short answer
A four-night small-group yoga retreat with Yogavibe in Morocco costs between €1,150 and €1,795 per person, excluding your flight. The price depends on the retreat and on whether you choose a shared or a private room. A custom retreat for your own group starts from €950 per person.

What is included
- Your stay in a private riad or villa: the place belongs to the group alone, and every bedroom has its own bathroom
- Two classes a day: Vinyasa, Rocket, Yin, meditation or Pilates, for every level
- Fresh food every day, vegetarian-friendly and with care for dietary needs (full board on the Luxury Reset)
- The activities in the programme, such as a surf lesson, hammam, medina tour, an Atlas hike or a workshop
- Charlotte on site all week, from arrival to departure
What is not included
- Your flight to Essaouira or Marrakech
- Travel insurance
- Usually the airport transfer, which we are happy to arrange (from Essaouira airport it costs €15 per ride)
- Tourist tax where it applies, paid on arrival (about €15 per person in Essaouira)
What drives the price of a yoga retreat
When you compare retreats, the price per night says little on its own. These are the things that make the difference:
Where you sleep
A dormitory in a surf camp costs far less than a private villa. With us the whole riad or villa is yours for the week, never shared with other guests. A private room costs more than a shared one.
How big the group is
Large retreats are cheaper per person but less personal. We keep groups to at most 10 to 12 guests, so the teacher knows everyone by name and adjusts the classes to the group.
How many classes and meals
One class a day and only breakfast is a very different offer from two classes a day and fresh food from morning to evening. Check what is really included before you compare prices.
Activities and transfers
A hammam, a surf lesson or a hike in the Atlas mountains adds up quickly if you book them yourself. In our programmes the activities are part of the price.
How booking works
You reserve your place with a deposit of €500 per person. The balance is due no later than 45 days before departure. The deposit is non-refundable; by agreement a booking can be moved to another retreat within 12 months.
